Does Pathwell transmit the file to my bank?
No. Pathwell is strictly a file generator and validator. Its job is to create a perfectly formatted NACHA file that will pass your bank's checks. You download the generated file from Pathwell and then upload it to your bank's treasury portal, just as you would with any other file.
Why not just use my bank's portal directly?
Many bank portals have clunky interfaces for creating files, requiring manual data entry or strict upload formats. They often provide vague error messages only *after* you upload a file that fails. What if my bank isn't listed?
